King Kong..10/10, ranks in my top 20 movies of all time
Jackson is one of the greatest directors, ever..can't wait for his next movie..
The Boondock Saints, finally found and bought the movie, 10/10
Chris Anderson told me that movie was good.

I think I paid around $4.50 for it at Wal Mart. It is a bit small, but it's a book all the same.
There is also a semi-illustrated version of the book out. I saw it for $20 in Raleigh last week.
version i read was nice, hardcover and illustrated, angels and demons is out in the same format as well, adds to the book...
I actually enjoyed angels and demons more than the da vinci code.
I can't believe that you are just now seeing that movie! It is quite possibly my favorite movie ever! They have it at hot topic and circuit city, walmart did have it, so did k-mart a while back.
what's your fav part?
I've had a couple of friends tell me to watch "Boondock Saints" but I can't seem to find it anywhere to rent. What's it about anyway?
Netflix description...
Twin brothers Conner (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy (Norman Reedus), feeling that their God-given mission is to cleanse the Earth of all human evil, set out to rid Boston of crime. But instead of joining the police force, these Irish Americans decide to kick criminal butt their own way -- à la Charles Bronson. Willem Dafoe is the openly gay FBI special agent assigned to investigate.
I have to say that I believe I liked Angels and Demons more also.
go up to walmart savoy, they have it for 10 bucks up there..
as for my favorite part..tie between the end of it when the brothers are in the courtroom explaining what they are doing
and when they have the "firefight" with "Il Duce"
I went and saw Stick It last night. My friend and I were definitely the oldest people there (besides the moms) but it was a cute girl movie. Lots of corny jokes, but I still laughed at them.
Also recent rentals-
Matchpoint- kind of interesting but moves a little slow
Casanova- I ended up pausing it in the middle and cleaning my apartment because it was so boring.
Watched Benchwarmers, HILARIOUS. By far one of the funniest movies I have seen in a really long time.
Yay! I wanted to go see it and my boyfriend thought I was just stupid! Now I can tell him I heard it was good.
Steve Harvey.... Dont' trip, he aint through with me yet
Very Very good... Steve cleaned his act up a lot.... It was comedy show he put on for T.D. Jakes. Church goers and non church goers will love this comedy act!
Also......the Family Stone.... wonderful movie, shows the meaning of family. It's great.. probably one of my top films..
An American Haunting....good, but weird movie..
Just watched Hostel. Better than most here and my friends had said. It had an original story. The actors could have been better, but you're not going to get Tom Hanks and Kevin Spacey doing horror flicks. 7/10.
Left Behind World At War. If you liked the first 2 you will like this
Hoodwinked. good, very cute
Anyone see that new Final Fantasy 7 movie? If it's as good as the game, I'm gonna go right out and get it.
last movie i watched was anchorman and im getting ready to watch Sling blade
United 93- was just flat out awesome I loved it even though I cried pretty much all the way through.
Im really shocked they made that movie
I liked United 93 too! It was really good!
I watched Scary Movie 4 yesterday, and it was pretty funny, but not something I would want to watch a second time.
like I told Smarty, it's the same one that was on discovery channel a few months back. So if anybody saw that one, I think called Flight 93 or something to that extent. Same thing that's in the movies right now...
Hoodwinked... good, cute movie..
actually they're not the same movie of course obviously they're based on the same concept but not identical movies. The made for tv movie was just that not a full fledged expensive production it's a little cheesy and not the quality of the movie.
They actually talked to a lot of the families of the passenger and they weren't upset with the movies b/c they saw it as a praise for what their family members had done...
obviously though it's still a means to make a profit so?
a night in paris....
thas hot.
i didn't mean the same exact movie.... i meant if u saw the discovery episode, u'd be like, holy crap, it's the same..
yeah, the theater, was better everything....
yeah, wow, they have to make profit off of something so terrible. But maybe, most will go to a charity or something.
I think like 20% of the first three days ticket sales went to the Red Cross or some charity.
And they let the families preview the movie before its theater debut.
Supposedly there will be another one out soon- World Trade Center, it has Nicholas Cage in it, and its also about 9/11.
I personally think its just too soon, I mean its nice if it is a good tribute and all, but I couldn't handle it myself. Maybe I'll rent it in a couple years.
The one with Cage is being done by Oliver Stone, it is supposed to be the story about the last survivors (firefighters) they pulled from the building.
watched Geronimo today on HBO, it had Robert Duval, Matt Damon, and Gene Hackman, I don't know why I never watched this before but it is a great movie, sad but well worth watching.
Watched Young Frankenstein on tv last night for the umteenth time over the years . Starring Gene Wilder from 1974 , a cult classic and one of the original spoof movies . There are a million laughs in this one so anyone who has never seen it do yourself a favor and rent it. Abby Normal .
